For girls, it can feel like constant pressure: fitting in, looking okay, being liked, keeping up with all sorts of expectations, handling friendship drama, navigating big emotions and hormonal cycles, and quietly wondering whether they are too much or not enough.
For mothers, it can bring its own ache: wanting to support her well, trying to stay steady, navigating conflict or distance, and wondering how to help without pushing too hard or getting it wrong.
Adolescence can be such a vulnerable and challenging season - for everyone involved.
For mothers, this season can actually become an extraordinary invitation into deep transformation, intergenerational healing, and growth.
It`s a space where both girls and mothers can feel seen, supported, and guided with compassion — so that adolescence becomes not just something you get through, but a chapter you embrace with clarity, connection, and trust.
At HEY BELLA we made it our mission to support you in this intense, often messy and sometimes harder-than-expected phase.
This is exactly what we do in our mentorship containers.

For the messy, precious, magical days of becoming. Because life is meant to feel meaningful, not serious.

HEY BELLA was created from the belief that the relationship between a mother and daughter is one of life’s most profound bonds.
These final years of living together under one roof can be beautiful, messy, stretching, and deeply transformative.
They ask a lot of both of us.
Being a mother and co-parent to three teenagers myself, I bring lived experience, deep empathy, and HUGE reverence for this chapter of life. I know how tender it can be to witness a young girl finding herself. I also know how much adolescence can awaken in us as mothers — our love, our fear, our hopes, our patterns, and our own unfinished becoming.
I belief that not only daughters need support in becoming who they are — mothers do too. When we create space for both, we make way for something this world deeply needs:
empowered womanhood across generations

I’m a holistic leadership and relationship coach whose work weaves together feminine self-leadership, Somatic Experiencing, mindfulness, NLP, and trauma-sensitive bodywork as well as spiritual practices that deepen our soul connection.
One thing I’ve learned after more than 10 years in this work: humor matters. Life can be deeply meaningful without becoming emotionally heavy all the time — and I want HeyBella to feel like a space where people can breathe again, laugh and shake it out and feel JOY for this one precious life we have.
about hey bella
Coach & founder of HEY BELLA
Yes — but not always immediately, and not always in the same way.
Sometimes a mother reaches out first. Sometimes it is the teen herself. In many cases, I begin by meeting with each person individually before deciding together whether joint sessions would feel supportive or helpful.
There is no rigid formula or forced process. Every family dynamic is different, and part of the work is creating a space that feels emotionally safe, respectful, and appropriate for everyone involved.
Connection during adolescence often looks different than it did before. Many mothers instinctively respond to distance by trying harder, asking more questions, over-helping, or over-monitoring — which can sometimes create even more tension. This work supports mothers in finding a steadier, less fear-driven way of staying connected while still respecting their daughter’s growing independence.
No. HeyBella offers mentoring and emotional support, not psychotherapy or clinical treatment. The approach is grounded, relational, emotionally supportive, and informed by trauma-aware and somatic perspectives, while staying rooted in real-life guidance and human connection.
Absolutely. Many mothers seek support for themselves first — especially when navigating helplessness, conflict, emotional distance, guilt, or uncertainty around how to best support their daughter (or themselves) during this season.
Girls often seek support around friendship struggles, anxiety, overwhelm, emotional intensity, self-esteem, identity, social pressure, body image, family stress, confidence, and the general challenges of growing up and figuring themselves out.
Ideally, yes — especially for ongoing mentoring. Teens are much more likely to open up when they feel choice and autonomy in the process. Sometimes mothers reach out first to explore whether support could feel helpful and appropriate for their daughter, and we can navigate that together gently and without pressure.
